Novaria is a Portuguese technology company based in Lisbon. We design, integrate, deploy and operate controlled AI inside business operations. Every engagement is led directly by the founders responsible for the work.

We connect existing systems, reduce manual handoffs and introduce AI only where it fits. We define the access, checks and human decisions around the workflow, then remain responsible for the engineering and operation within the agreed scope.

The founders

Tiago de Sá

Chief Executive Officer

Novaria's commercial lead. Tiago spends his time inside clients' operations, understanding how they actually run and turning that into commitments Novaria can keep.

Responsible for operational analysis, client engagement, commercial strategy and delivery coordination.

Renato Sebastião

Chief Technology Officer

Software engineer and builder. Renato leads Novaria's technology end to end, from the first diagnosis to the code that runs in production.

Responsible for architecture, AI implementation, systems integration, security controls and engineering quality.

Roots

Portuguese. South African. Both.

The founders are Portuguese South Africans: Portuguese families, a South African upbringing, and the directness that comes with both. Novaria itself is Portuguese, based in the Lisbon area and built for the market it lives in. The backstory just happens to span two continents.
